With both of us using the new changes, the other raider out-damaged me but I kept up well enough that it was a gear difference, nothing more. Instead, they tried out my spec and found a few ways to improve it for the Archimond fight, and that ended up being my new ‘Archie’ spec because it was a helpful change. The above happened again in Hellfire Citadel except the other person didn’t let it go on the whole raid. Not only did I keep up, but I out-damaged a mythic raider of the same class/spec who was playing the meta. In a heroic raid once, a lot of the talents I were using were not ‘optimal’ but they worked for ME and MY play style and the raid lead had no issue as long as I kept up. A Vow So Bold and Deadly continues to show that characters struggle with PTSD, but the handling of it was so much better than in the previous book. What scared me most about A Heart so Fierce and Broken was how it seemed to hint at a character having PTSD, but instead of addressing it, they made that character seem more villainous. The direction the plot was going in, and how some characters were treated, really bothered me, and I knew that the final book in this series will make me love it, or hate it. After A Heart so Fierce and Broken, I was left conflicted and concerned. ![]() |
